Estranged Identity Demon: Anger

Anger:
Actor: Anna Dowell
Costume Colors: black torn dress with red appearing through holes, bottom and on belt.

Hair:
I had trouble with Anger's hair because it's long and I wanted it to be interesting without getting too complicated. The two ideas I ended up liking for her are an unusual faux-hawk or just strange crimping.

  • The faux-hawk:
How-to: Obviously there would have to be some variation since Anna's hair is longer, but my idea was that we tease and hair-spraye the top of the hair into a faux-hawk of sorts, or even a bouffant-ish looking... thing. And then mimic the way the sides are pulled tightly back and hanging in messy braids of different sizes. Even though this looks rather elaborate I don't think it would actually be too much work, especially since the hairstyle is itself somewhat grungy and since she's a demon anyway we wouldn't want anything neat.

  • Crimping [option if the above doesn't work at all]:

How-to: While the picture uses ringlets I think that we could imitate this hairstyle with really really hair-sprayed crimping instead. And since Anna's hair is so long we could perhaps do a level of crimping at about the same place as in the picture and then also a little further down as well.

Makeup:
This look will be done in a red/black version. In this tutorial where he uses blue will be the red and on the black lines outward from eyes add highlights of red also. Highlight the inner tear duct with gold or orange (instead of silver in video). We will be using the same Kryolan wet makeup. The eyes will be completed with red/black false lashes. Lips will be red with black liner.
